I've used port 8001 on a 10 year old pentium 1 with no problems. It runs
Slackware Linux 11.0 and only has 256 MB RAM and a 200 MHz CPU...it's up
24/7. I started with gnump3d 2.9.8 and upgraded to 2.9.9, 2.9.9.9 and now
2.9final. Never seen that problem. I have found that permissions on all
files in /usr/share/gnump3d/ need to be 644 for them to be read.
