Make sure sort_order is set in /etc/gnump3d/gnump3d.conf. You might also
try re-indexing by running the command gnump3d-index.

I use two. One in GUI mode:
http://easytag.sourceforge.net/
and one in CLI and scripting mode:
http://id3v2.sourceforge.net/
