Is it possible to use gnump3d to stream the audio line-in port as a real-time mp3 (stream)? Is gnump3d the right tool for this or would something like Icecast be more appropriate? My end goal is to be able to point something like winamp to my personal server and hear whatever audio source I may have piped into the sound card.

I'm using the gnump3d in windows running under cygwin if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Bruce
