The contrib/namespacehelper.sh file has not been updated in a long time (I totally forgot that it even existed). So this is most likely a problem with the script being extremely outdated (0.5.x? if you're lucky it works with 0.6.x). We should decide if it is worth to fix the script or just toss it.
