I think the problem might be restricted to the ".gnd" file. Every time that I publish the pictures I always get the same CHK URI (as expected), but this is not true for the GND. This is what I get running the command $ gnunet-publish mydir/ three times. Note the different hash, and also the different size (at the end of the URI). Below I've copied the URI, a copy of your hexdump, and a few bytes for each of the ".gnd" files that I get when running `gnunet-download`.
