TL;DR: better descriptions and better public presence for GNUnet coming up soon, one preview on guix-devel list right now.
gmane.comp.gnu.guix.devel message id 17647 contains the description I currently use for GNUnet in packaging. I will work this out soon to - best case scenario - make the GNUnet projects are presented in a language/summary people who have not digged into papers and discussions for a long time can understand, selfexplanatory in addition to what should be left open to people who are interested in / already working with the code itself. I imagine a webpresence where people I talk to about GNUnet can be send to the gnunet.org page and at first sight get something selfexplanatory, covering also SecuShare and possible usecases, with a focus on /what/ is this /why/ should I use it and /how/ does it roughly work explained in a language understandable to people who are not technologic experts or understand wordings like "authorities" in the context of networks etc.. This message will probably be corrected, so see it as a first draft on what I plan to come up with in the months to come as this was written on the go. thanks, -- ng personal contact: http://krosos.sdf.org EDN: https://wiki.c3d2.de/Echt_Dezentrales_Netz/en _______________________________________________ GNUnet-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnunet-developers
