I started using that script because it seems to be what most of the other GNU projects are using. We have to separate this here: Let's try to not introduce a dependency on dot unless absolutely necessary Maybe we could generate the data for the documentation, that is intended for outputs that are not necessary part of the main distribution, in the run-gendocs.sh script? I'll look into the Makefiles in doc later. I'm running low on battery, can't reply more.
