This is good to know. However, even this syntax requires the package
pkgconf to be installed. Compilation without it leads to the same error
as mentioned before.

I'll summarize the insights with a script to provide
the packages required to set the environment up which
is used to compile (to be eventually published in the
do it yourself repository diy-gnupg at Codeberg).
