You can delete other signatures from the Key existing on Your Keyring but it won't affect the Key on the Servers or "in the wild". Many folks do this to keep their Keyrings as small as possible. The same thing can be done by running the --minimize command on any Key and stripping it of everything *except* Self-Sigs. Very small Keyrings are helpful when using them on a thumb drive where space may be limited.
