dmtxwrite uses ImageMagick for some image processing, so whatever file
formats ImageMagick can handle on your platform, dmtxwrite can handle
as well.

FWIW, I'm on Fedora 10 (ImageMagick 6.4.0.10) and I have PDF, SVG, and
PNG (and a few dozen others).
