Hello, I just noticed that it is possible to create UIDs without an email address without giving the option --allow-freeform-uid. The man page says:
--allow-freeform-uid Disable all checks on the form of the user ID while generating a new one. This option should only be used in very special environments as it does not ensure the de-facto standard format of user IDs. Google did not solve my confusion. This seems not to be related to --expert (I tried with --options /dev/null) Hauke -- PGP: D44C 6A5B 71B0 427C CED3 025C BD7D 6D27 ECCB 5814
