Dan Boneh has a really interesting paper showing that RSAP may not be the same as IFP, yes. But that paper exists on a very abstract plane: my math is enough that I can read it and get the rough outlines and understand the broad strokes, but I wouldn't want to make anyone think I was any kind of an expert on it.
