System sockets > aren't created in /etc/ either but usually in /var/run or something. It is not a system socket but a per-user socket. Anyway, we are planning to move the socket to /run/user/<uid>/gnupg/ to keep the socket name short enough for the socket API. Shalom-Salam, Werner -- Die Gedanken sind frei.
