Hey Joshua can you help out since you seem to be so good at inspecting gpg keys that you can notice checksum differences? I have a revoked primary key and GnuPG has a bug where it wrongly shows the subkey as revoked and refuses to issue a 0x28. I did some more research and it looks like gpgsplit can be used to write the revocation manually somehow. A few more hours with AI reveals more bugs in the latest GnuPG where all of the subkey options are broke nearly every export will export the entire set of keys even when specifying specific LONG ID of the subkey. The biggest hints that GnuPG used to work is Michael's blog and the "(deprecated)" in the RFC meaning it used to be working and not bugged.
