New description:

NDIS wrapper is now freely available at:

 http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/ndis/

We need it in terms of supporting Broadcom Wireless cards. It operates
 through wificonfig,
so proper dependencies needs to be provided.

Comment:

Since ndiscvt requires binaries of bcm driver present and even after that
recompilation is required, there is no simple and at the same time clean
way to provide bcm drivers at Alpha2. Taking in account that Alpha2 could
be release tomorrow or day after tomorrow, we don't have time for this.

 Moving ticket to Beta1 time-frame.

PS: one solution would be to pre-generate bcm binaries and put it on
www.gnusolaris.org/drivers, and later bcm43xx could wget them from our
website after license agreement asked on user's side.
This possibility needs to be investigated.
