I don't know if anybody has mentioned this experience, however it seems 
to only apply to a UFS filesystem root.  I installed Nexenta CP Beta1 
Test2 with a ZFS root and a UFS root, I only needed to re-create the APT 
caches on the UFS root filesystem. 

As this is a 'known bug' I hope that this information may clarify and 
help troubleshoot the issue, or at the very least, offer more 
information to the users of Nexenta.  Which is running awesome on my 
home server!
