I don't know if anybody has mentioned this experience, however it seems to only apply to a UFS filesystem root. I installed Nexenta CP Beta1 Test2 with a ZFS root and a UFS root, I only needed to re-create the APT caches on the UFS root filesystem.
As this is a 'known bug' I hope that this information may clarify and help troubleshoot the issue, or at the very least, offer more information to the users of Nexenta. Which is running awesome on my home server! -- Bryan >> >> Known bugs: >> >> * after fresh install APT caches needs to be re-created: >> >> $ sudo rm /var/lib/apt/* >> $ sudo apt-get update >> -- >> Erast >> _______________________________________________ gnusol-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-devel
