I tried to build ON, but compilation failed although I set up
correctly the compilation env according to the guide in opensolaris.org.

On a side note I have to report something that shocked me:
during the compilation of eclipse from sources my Nexenta NCP test1beta2
rebooted completely, not once but twice.
My linux on the same pc never showed the slightest sign of instability
