The sem-official way (agreed by the Nexenta core contributors) is to 
have a Nexenta project page at opensolaris.org serving precisely the 
purpose you describe. Some people from the community are trying to view 
Nexenta team as "not willing to participate with the rest", although 
obiously the very opposite is the truth. We hope to clarify this by 
having official project @ opensolaris.org, although I haven't had a time 
to step in with the proposal. See
