If it is already packaged then the question begging to be asked is, "why
is the package not part of the Debian repository?"
Barring any crazy hacks/skeletons in the source package, I would say it
fits with the server scheme of NCP if you are willing to maintain it there.
If you compile/test/upload the package I'll look through it and see if
anything jumps out at me. One recommendation I have is regarding
versions: the package should depend tightly on the version of php5 it is
built against. I found a post [2] which seems to suggest this may not be
the case by default. Also a debian thread [3] on the subject seems to
shed some light on the version issue.
