Some core packages do not have inter-dependencies, but most of them
depends on newer bits. I.e. for instance if you want to install
filebench, the dpkg will make sure it has proper core bits installed:

# dpkg-deb -I sunwfilebench_5.11.82-1_solaris-i386.deb|grep Depends
 Depends: sunwcslr, sunwlibm, sunwtecla, sunwcakr (>= 5.11.82-1), sunwkvm (>= 
5.11.82-1), sunwcsr (>= 5.11.82-1), sunwckr (>= 5.11.82-1), sunwcnetr (>= 
5.11.82-1), sunwcsu (>= 5.11.82-1), sunwcsd (>= 5.11.82-1), sunwcsl (>= 
5.11.82-1), sunwcar (>= 5.11.82-1), perl

i.e. sunwcakr for example must be >= 5.11.82-1
