Hello, I noticed that 1.0.1 iso doesn't offer manual partitioning which I need for our setup, so I installed from beta1 cd and planned to do the upgrade later.
Now this upgrade is becoming way more challenging then necessary. After I solved apt-get -f install and apt-clone pingpong by reomving sunwtoo and a bunch of dependant devel packages, I was finally able to do apt-clone without complaints. Now it gets throug, starts installing packages and then I get: /tmp/upgrade-attempt.19876/boot/solaris/bin/extract_boot_filelist[56]: -o: unknown option I figured out that this file belongs to sunwcsu, so I tried to upgrade just that. It pulls in some dependencies and then I get: Preparing to replace sunwcsr 5.11.68-1 (using .../sunwcsr_5.11.85-4_solaris-i386.deb) ... Unpacking replacement sunwcsr ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/sunwcsr_5.11.85-4_solaris-i386.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/boot/solaris/bin/create_ramdisk', which is also in package sunwcakr dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken Pipe) Now what? -- Jure Pečar http://jure.pecar.org _______________________________________________ gnusol-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-users
