Hi everyone,

Both as I check to see if there is any life on this list. I am new to nexenta but not new to Solaris. What I want to do is make my server into a little development server as well.

So are there any more repositories to add to the apt-get ?

My main concern is getting mongrel and ruby on rails without having to do the compile my self.

Best regards,

Trausti
Hi Trausti,

   Welcome to Nexenta :)

While it's not ideal you can find packages that are in different repositories by visiting [1] and finding your desired package. You will probably find that NCP 1.x (elatte release) is more likely to have the packages you need. When you find a package (eg ruby [2]) you can select a repository [3] and the page contains a sources.list line that you can directly include.
