Hi Trausti,
I started on a path to patch the Debian/Ubuntu Transmission package
to compile under Nexenta. With some hacking the package compiled but
transmission-daemon would segfault and I think it had a corrupted stack
so it was on my list of things to debug when I got a chance. If you just
need to run a torrent download then aria2 works.
The package is not in the Nexenta repositories because it doesn't
fall under the definition of "main" but it could belong to a thirdy
party repository somewhere.
