I was diving into this the other day and thought it was an issue with
xfs not working correctly but as it turns out libxfont is not compiled
correctly. What is more aggravating is that when I compile libxfont by
hand and use the generated lib, it works as advertised. As soon as I let
the package options loose it stops working. I suspect some compile flags
are doing this but I didn't get a chance to find out which.
If nobody has tackled it, then maybe this weekend I can dive into it.
Also, xfs doesn't compile straight out of the box if I remember
correctly. It's a simple issue of replacing asprintf in some code though.
