To me, that sounds very reasonable. Themes are very important. Dynamic 
layout/sizing like Renaissance
does is also very important.
I see no real reason to use hardcoded Y/X values like done in NIB files.

Well, hardcoded position does make localization look better
considering the languages are quite
different in west and east.
