I just followed the API available from icu-project.org. I'll take a look at it again and see what it looks like for v3. If it's trivial, I'll go ahead and add it. I did notice, the opposite of what's provided in Language/Locale.aliases canonical*IdentifierFromString: will be needed. For the Language variant, a new file, possibly named Languague.aliases, will be required. As for the Locale variant, I'm not sure if there's a way to use what's already provided by -base. I've also been playing around with <locale.h>, but the output of the functions there are completely different and will require a lot of mapping, back and forth. Stef
