Thanks. OpenBSD seems to do the same.
What I wonder is that I developed on both machines a lot, especially NetBSD, I am pretty sure it used to work. So more than runtime it is perhaps how we use the runtime? It's not something that has always been broken. I will report as soon as I collect more data.
