It's a really tight tunescale. Can we get a release of gnustep-core
out in the next couple of weeks? I have been working in preparing
gnustep-base for release since mid December, so I think it's nearly
ready to go. I think gnustep-make is good to release. What do we
need to get GUI/back ready?
I am a little worried about the tight schedule too. There is a lot of
flux in gui, with non-merged branches.
The whole core needs some testing too, although make and base look good.
Could we declare feature freeze?
Also GWorkspace and Addresses need a release... I must check if
Pantomime had API changes too.
Yavor, could you explain the soname requirement?
I was thinking about this proceeding: kick out stuff with a soname bump
(e.g. AddressesView 0.50.0) quickly, Then work out smore more fixes
provided they don't change API and thus get e.g get out 0.50.1. It is
not our standard proceedings, but it might be a good idea this time, if
it is feasible.
This would buy us another month, right?
