I'm actually having no success in running wvSummary on Windows (2000 and XP). When I run wvSummary.exe on any Word, Excel or Powerpoint document I get the following error message (with no metadata extraction):
sorry problem with getting ole streams from readme.doc wvSummary appears to work correctly with the same input documents when running on Linux. Has anyone else successfully used wvSummary on Windows? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. As far as I know, this is just a message of wvsummary that it will not use a particular way of reading the fiel, not an error report. So you may ignore it.
