Usually, when a tape drive has been attached to your system, it is represented in the list of drive letters. At least that's how it is with ZIP-tape drives. If this is not the case with your tape, then the only way to use tar with it, is to create first a tar archive on the hard disk or the network disk, and then copy it using the standard way to copy a file to a tape drive. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
