To be explicit, the problem I noted was that, when I invoked the GnuWin32 implementation of info 4.6 from the MSYS shell, I would see the first page of the info file displayed, and info would then exit to the shell prompt, without allowing me to browse any further into the file. If I tried the same from cmd.exe, info simply aborted, with a message to the effect that the console was too dumb to support it. Perhaps I simply need to have something else installed, but I was unable to glean, from the supplied docs, what that might be. Any idea what I am missing?
