Hello: I cannot seem to get some coreutils to work as intended on XP (SP2). Examples: - chown never changes owner (on NTFS, run by admin) - chmod only changes permissions for all (never for owner or group (NTFS run by admin) - who and users return with blank line Many similar problems, I am dumbfunded. The only thing I can say is that my Windows is German - have to change this but could that be the reason? I'd be happy to have some comments, thamks!
