hello all and sorry for answering late. You told us about the graal : there is no windows shell that satisfied me.
- Cygwin based shells don't deal correctly with windows environnement - cmd is useless, powershell is damn slow and not line editor friendly the best choice, imho, is the native port of tcsh by amol ... good deal with windows but it is tcsh: - Easy line editing - simple completion system - csh programming concidered harmfull - no sh compatibility (forget open source provided makefiles) Binaries: ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/unix/shells/tcsh/old/ to download a binary. As zsh is the best shell ever written, i dream about a port of it. Amol done it with zsh 3 but it was buggy and zsh 3 is now old.
