Hello,

In the file zconf.h, someone changed a #if 0 to #if 1
for some reason, which causes the compiler to attempt
to include unistd.h, which doesn't exist under Windows.

The original zlib 1.2.3 tarball does not attempt this,
so it is odd that someone changed the GnuWin32 version
to be incompatible with Windows.

I found 2 bug reports made in 2004 about this,
yet 4 years later it is not fixed. What would it take
to finally fix it?

Zack
