I appreciate the fact that the info from MSYS or Cygwin will work, however they are not "native", which does not meet my requirements. I see you were active in that thread as well. That thread seemed to confirm the fact that at least GnuWin32 texinfo 4.6 does not work, and couldn't be made to work without significant effort, however the question of whether earlier versions worked seemed to be left unanswered.
