Two ideas come to mind:

1) Automatically create .bat (or on Linux, shell) scripts that recreate the 
exact same environment variables as in the last GoCD agent has, and also 
change the working directory to the same directory that external command 
are invoked in. Then tell folks what to do (source/run the file) on the 
command line.

2) Provide a way to open a shell in the web browser through an agent
