Hi,

I am running a go-server on Debian jessie, and on the same machine I am
running a single agent. My config for both are as advised, and my
/etc/defaults/go-agent looks like this:

GO_SERVER_URL=https://127.0.0.1:8154/go
AGENT_WORK_DIR=/var/lib/${SERVICE_NAME:-go-agent}
DAEMON=Y
VNC=N

I am using the loopback address here but I've also used a network IP with
the same result. There's nothing particular about my setup, it's all taking
place on virtual machines on the same host anyway. I tried removing all
references to my go-agent and it's GUID from config.xml hoping that the
server would re-discover the agent (or the agen would re-make itself known
to the server) but this didn't happen, so I have restored to having my
agent's details (UID, IP address, hostname) detailed in the config.xml.

starting and stopping either server or agent or both has no effect. The
agent is listed in the Admin console under "Agents", but is always
"missing". Any suggestions welcome at this point, I can't think of what the
issue would be.
