Amazing things are indeed happening there, including de facto Partition, and full-scale preparation for civil war.
But it's not true that either Delhi or Imphal are looking away. In fact both state and national apparatus has picked one side (the same one) in the building conflagration, while labelling the other as criminal. We are at a very dangerous juncture indeed, facing catastrophe that could easily spill far beyond Manipur.
