We recently learnt of the death of Dr Leopoldo Rocha, a scholar who was deeply
interested in Goan issues and a veteran who worked many decades on Goa. Rocha
was 93, and a long-time member of GRN. He was formerly a professor at Rachol, a
priest, and actively committed to writing and explaining Goa.
