Dear members, This is a long-shot but I thought will give it a try. Does anyone know of a J. M. Viegas who lived in Zanzibar from about 1884 to 1897, when the sultan decorated him with the Brilliant Star of Zanzibar for his many years of service with the Italian consulate.
