A Mangalorean company of a Mr. Rasquinha had opened an aerated water company in Ucassaim, Goa, around 1930.In 1950 the company diversified into handloom materials in Ucassaim, near Punola, and their new factory was formally opened in May 1950 by Governor General Quintanilha Mendonça Dias. Effective marketing strategies, both domestically and internationally, are also crucial for sustaining the craft's growth. Moreover, educating weavers about government schemes and policies is essential to provide the necessary support for their craft. The findings of this study highlight the importance of ongoing efforts to revitalize the Kunbi sari weaving craft and ensure its preservation for future generations.
