                                                        iWe couldn't verify the 
sender of this email.        Interestingly, Betalbatim has the oldest records 
of births, deaths and baptisms at the Archives Department in Panjim.  I did 
access a lot of information whilst researching my family tree history, as my 
father's side is from Cotawaddo, Betalbatim and the oldest book, just repaired, 
dates back to 1750's soon after the inquisition period.  However, it is hardly 
readable... but managed to reach 1790's on our family tree.  I have found very 
interesting entries of all sorts, some shocking, others hilarious - great 
reading, better than Netflix! Betalbatim  seemed to be a cool place to live at 
the time!🙂
