The topicof this subject is not about Goa, but I will respond.

Eugene, seewhat is happening with the independence of East Timor with serious 
problems andwhich did not want to be part of Indonesia with a dazzling 
development. TheFlores Island, Indonesia (with a Catholic majority, formerly 
Portuguese andformerly Netherlands) have a higher life index than East Timor. 
Goa isbenefiting from being part of India, one of the 5 giants of the world. 
Goa hasits own government and no longer receives Governador Geral de Portugal.
