She serves on the Museum of Christian Art Committee and is the co-founder of a not-for-profit organisation called Heritage First Goa. Ms. Pandit lives in Saligao with her dogs Goru, Potio and Vahiti. She is currently working on a book titled, *Objects and Memories from Goa*. ------------------------------ Pamela D’Mello Pamela D’Mello is a widely published independent journalist, writer, and researcher who has worked in the newspaper, magazine, and online media space for over three and a half decades, reporting and analysing the political economy of contemporary Goa for a host of national publications. She writes the odd short story, while her research interest has led to seminar papers on Land Relations, Political Defections and the Tenth Schedule, Goa’s Civil Code, and the Role of Private Schools in 19th and 20th Century Education in Goa. He has three books to his credit, and was shortlisted for the 2025 Commonwealth Short Story Prize.
