Some colleagues here in Romania asked me to put together a

This is what came to be. Although the milestones explanations
are in Romanian, all should be pretty self explanatory?!
Is there any other big, big, big moment in time that slipped
my eye?
If you are going back as far as 1969 then I think many people would see the
Free/Open software movement (Stallman, 1986) as creating much of the background
practice and philosophy that went into "Open Access".
