Final reminder: OR2017 submission deadline November 30th The final deadline for submitting proposals and scholarship programme applications to the Twelfth International Conference on Open Repositories (@OR2017aus and #or2017) closes on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. The conference is scheduled to take place June 26-30 in Brisbane, Australia and is being hosted by The University of Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Griffith University. The theme this year is "Open : Innovation | Knowledge | Repositories." You may review the call for proposals here: http://or2017.net/call-for-proposals/ The OR2017 Scholarship Programme enables us to provide support for a small number of full registered places (including the poster reception and banquet) for the conference in Brisbane. The programme is open to librarians, repository managers, developers and researchers in digital libraries and related fields. Applicants submitting a paper for the conference will be given priority consideration for funding. Please note that the programme does not cover costs such as accommodation, travel and subsistence. With a Physics degree, a Master of Science degree and a DLS degree, Dr. Zhang brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the areas of digital libraries, knowledge organization, data-driven knowledge discovery, and open access.
