Hi everyone,

Last week, the 1findr platform (www.1findr.com) for research discovery and
analytics was launched in its free version. This week on the blog, I've done a
comparative analysis to assess the coverage of 1findr against that of
Dimensions by Digital Science. These two platforms represent a new approach to
collecting and collating bibliographic data. Stacked up against each other, the
major difference seems to be in the volume of open access material, but there
are also interesting findings about document types and coverage over time-we're
talking centuries, not just years or decades.

You can see my full comparative analysis here:

With best wishes,

Brooke
