Hi Lisa, No, as Smits said 'it is not a menu'. Author retention of rights is fundamental to Plan S. The green option is simply something that allows compliance without payment of an APC.
This is of course speculation - until we have actual policies and the implementation plan, we are all kind of guessing here.
