It was earlier announced by the Convenor of JG, Arvind Bhatikar that Taleigao MLA Atanasio (babush) Monserrate, IT Minister Dayanand Narvekar, Transport minister Pandurang Madkaikar, controversial former Power Minister Mauvin Godinho and Viswajeet Rane (Rane's son) have been blacklisted by the organisation.
