Subject: Mega Losses Builders are complaining of huge losses due to the Anti Mega Projects movement. Yes, they will have losses but surely they ignore the fact, that losses suffered by Goa & its future generations will be far greater, due to their projects. Already, Goa is gaining bad press in many countries including Dubai (Gulf News - May 2008) about its declining status as one of India's premier Tourist Destination. There are so many beautiful places around the world that have been destroyed by concretisation & over-exploitation. We have to protect Goa, its Charm & Identity. Let these greedy/corrupt builders do the math of what losses Goa & Goans will suffer going forward. I have done the same and as such, have no sympathy for these destructors of Goa.
